Shayna Gilberg is a Houston-based actor, singer, stage manager, and dramaturg. Born and raised in Tarpon Springs, FL, she grew up studying theatre and dance for most of her life and holds an MFA in Acting from Florida Atlantic University (2024). She also holds a BFA in Musical Theatre and Dance Minor from the University of Central Florida (2022).
Recently, Shayna has worked for companies such as MATCH (Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston), GableStage, Actor's Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre, the Orlando Shakes, and Theatre Lab. Favorite credits include 9 to 5: The Musical (Doralee Rhodes), The Lady from the Sea (Bolette Wangel), and Shrek the Musical (Princess Fiona) at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts in Downtown Orlando. In the themed entertainment scene, she has showcased her singing, acting, and stage combat skills at Pirate's Dinner Adventure Orlando (Princess Anita.) and Cedar Point Live E! (Forbidden Frontier).​
Shayna enjoys dramaturgy and has found a passion for working in both research and new play development. Shayna is thrilled to work as a Script Reader for the Alley Theatre in Houston, TX. She particularly loves working as a Jewish Ethnicity Production Consultant for companies that want to include Jewish voices on the artistic team of shows with Jewish themes or characters. Shows she has consulted for include Fiddler on the Roof, Indecent, and Prayer for the French Republic.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her fiancé, playing with her cat, listening to Taylor Swift, practicing piano, and playing all kinds of video games. Shayna is passionate about animal rescue and has spent many years volunteering at the Suncoast Animal League.
